Discuss and Exchange to Discover Better

On Tuesday, December 4th, 2018, the first JMap Users Regional Conference was held. The participants, from several cities across Saguenay - Saint-Félicien, Dolbeau-Mistasini, and MRC-du-Fjord, met in Alma to take part in a busy afternoon. First, a presentation of various JMap solutions to get more details and how each of these could help users through their specific needs. Then, a case study outlining the possibilities of JMap Tracking demonstrated by the City of Saguenay. Specifically, the representatives unveiled how the City managed the vehicles’ fleet during snow removal operations, the precise knowledge of traveled kilometers during storms and the savings generated by JMap Tracking. The representatives also described JMap use for communication from the City to its citizens. Finally, discussions let the participants discuss and ask more questions about the solutions presented during the conference.
