Quebec Geomatics Community Gathers
The GeoQc2021 conference was held from October 20 to 22 and K2 Geospatial took part in this event that brought together the Quebec geomatics community.
Delegates and exhibitors met at the Quebec City Convention Centre for three days, which provided a platform for exchanging information on the new perspectives that are emerging and an opportunity to reflect on the future in a positive manner.
After nearly 20 months of virtual networking, it was very pleasant for the members of our team (Léa Blanchet, Jacques Charron and Jean-Robert Desbiens-Haddad) to meet and exchange with exhibitors, delegates and participants in person.
All the speeches and conferences were very stimulating, instructive and related to five major current themes, such as the development of geospatial and land data, the knowledge of risk in space, the cadastral renovation operation, the emergence of the hydrospatial field and the new territories. Congratulations and thanks to all those who spoke at the conference.
This event was a success thanks to its organizers and collaborators: the Association canadienne des sciences géomatiques Section Champlain, theOrdre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec, the Canadian Institute of Geomatics - Montreal Branch and the Association de géomatique municipale du Québec..
Congratulations for making the GeoQc2021 Conference a success!
