Return of the RUJ

April 12, 2018

On April 11th, 2018, in the city of Blainville, Quebec, we held the first meeting of 2018 for the JMap Users Group (RUJ). Following discussions that took place between various organizations using the JMap platform, this meeting helped us see how much interest exists in the JMap Users Group. In fact, the participants, 15 people representing 10 municipalities and 2 representing the Vaudreuil Regional County Municipality, shared their respective experiences regarding the administration and use of JMap. More precisely, Daniel Braseau presented projects realized by his organization with the JMap application. It was about maintaining the conviviality and the friendly side of the exchanges between the members, but also to improve and develop the skills and the aptitudes of each one through the presentation of real cases. The essence of these exchanges was not unidirectional but rather multidirectional knowledge sharing.

Representatives of the K2 team gave an update on the evolution of JMap, gave a technical demonstration, a presentation of the Road Map and a session of tips and tricks to ensure maximum accessibility to various tools and features offered on JMap. However, the K2 team were not the only ones to make interesting remarks. Members submitted the possibility of establishing a communication platform that would facilitate exchanges throughout the year. Attending a meeting of the JMap Users Group not only represents an opportunity to deepen multiple knowledge, but also a chance to share your ideas.

Will you be joining us at the next RUJ meeting?
